Accessibility Statement
Farmer Diamonds – IT Service Provider GmbH is committed to making its websites accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to read about, sign in to, and use the Digital Art Factory without barriers.
Scope
This statement applies to the public website farmer.diamonds (including the legal pages) and to the sign-in flow of the customer portal at art.farmer.diamonds. The content served inside individual customer instances is configured per customer and may be subject to separate statements.
Legal framework
We aim to comply with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) as implemented in Austria by the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz (BaFG), using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the technical benchmark.
Conformance status
Based on our self-assessment, the pages in scope substantially conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known exceptions are listed under "Known limitations" below.
Measures we take
- Accessibility is part of our design and review process for every page we publish.
- Pages use semantic HTML with one heading per page level, landmark regions, and a skip-to-content link.
- We test with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers before release.
- The site is self-hosted with no third-party embeds, which keeps behavior predictable for assistive technology.
Supported accessibility features
- Full keyboard operability: every interactive element can be reached and activated without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
- Screen-reader support through semantic structure, landmarks, labels and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA in both light and dark themes; information is never conveyed by color alone.
- Light and dark themes following your system preference, with a manual toggle.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
- Multilingual interface with a language switcher; right-to-left languages are fully supported.
- Text can be resized to 200% and pages reflow without loss of content or function.
- Passwordless hardware-key sign-in avoids memory- and typing-intensive password entry; the enrollment and sign-in flows are operable by keyboard and communicate status to assistive technology.
Compatibility
The pages in scope are designed to work with current versions of all evergreen browsers and with common screen readers (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack). They do not require any plug-ins.
Known limitations
- Some legal pages are authoritative in German and English only; other interface languages translate headings and navigation, while body text may remain in English.
- Hardware security keys require a physical action (touch or equivalent). Users who cannot perform this action with their key should contact us — we will work out an accessible enrollment path together.
